“ I have eaten here few times, they got a nice menu with good options. I love a place that can nail biscuits and gravy. ”
“ Wow! Is all I can say! What a positive experience this was! Food and service were amazing and the place is s so quaint! Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from Bloomingdale! For drinks we tried frozen: strawberry/ banana smoothie, caramel Frappuccino and I tried the hot banana pancake latte which was superb! I would love to go on the daily just for the coffee! Our food was some of the best breakfast we’ve ever had and they didn’t skimp on the portions! We tried: Bisquits and gravy-amazing: bisquits tasted homemade and gravy was perfect not too Spicey and just the right ratio of sausage and gravy. Nutella crepes which received raving reviews, and the “The Bisquit” omelette wow, like nothing else. Pancakes were amazing served with whipped butter and warm syrup. This place needs to be on Chicagos best. ”
“ Had a party of 8 and they seated us right at 10:30. Food was incredible and plentiful, I think we all took leftovers. Peach tea was amazing. Service was gas and friendly I unfortunately did not catch our servers name but she was very sweet and attentive. ”
“ We enjoyed our breakfast with a southern flair! The farmhouse decor along with great staff makes for an inviting place to enjoy a meal. Our server was Kamila P and she took our extensive order lake a pro! This is a kid friendly place with plenty of free parking. They also serve lunch. ”
“ This place right here serves some of the best tasting southern inspired dishes in the area. The Fritter Skillet and chicken and biscuit with gravy was amazing. Also had some of the best tasting pancakes I have had. Make sure you come here on an empty stomach as the servings are for grown folks! ”
“ Just what I needed on a chilly morning. I ordered a skillet w/hash browns, cheese, eggs, sausage, onion/grn pepper and sausage gravy. Portions were huge and the food was delicious. The skillet comes with a big homemade biscuit and pancakes, but I ordered the French toast instead. Pictures don’t do them justice. I highly recommend. ”
“ Came here for the first time a few days ago and it was UHHMAZINGG. Ordered the fried catfish over grits and the bo-nuts. The catfish was EXCELLENT and the grits were delicious. So heartwarming and savory and buttery and a good kick of spice which you can’t find at most restaurants; I preemptively asked for hot sauce and didn’t even need to use it. Love when things are spiced more fully. And the bonuts were great. I preferred the blueberry butter spread on them to the chocolate which tasted a bit like hersheys, not my favorite kind of chocolate. But everything was great and we’ll definitely be coming back. Service was quick and kind and the atmosphere was very bright and welcoming. Love the details like the country music playing in the bathroom. Happy to have found a new place for breakfast (and lunch) ”
“ Good, hearty food with giant portions. Everything we had was excellent. The best were the stuffed French toast and fluffy pancakes. Can’t wait to go back! ”
